SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to uninstall any of the Microsoft programs listed at the
beginning of this article, you may receive the following error message:

Setup is unable to find the works services file.

If you click OK, you receive the following error message:

Canceling the Installation Wizard

The Installation Wizard was interrupted before Microsoft Picture It!
could be completely installed.

To install Microsoft Picture It! at a later time, insert the
disc into the disc drive. On the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, and
then click Run. In the Open box, type the name of the disc drive you are
using, followed by setup.exe (for example: G:\pip\setup.exe).

To exit the Installation Wizard, click Finish.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you uninstalled one of the programs listed at the
beginning of this article without using the Add/Remove Programs tool in
Microsoft Windows.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, reinstall the Microsoft program that you are attempting
to uninstall, and then uninstall the program by using the Add/Remove Programs
tool in Control Panel.
